Hi, I'm Brien Lee, and I have been producing videos for thirty years. So I guess you could say I pre-date YouTube a bit! (g)

But being around for a while has its benefits. The big three are experience, knowledge, and wisdom.

The experience to have seen it all, from slides, to film, to video, to the web.
The knowledge (through trial and error) to know what works in long-form communication, and what doesn't.

I started my first business out of journalism college, and was determined to be better than the competition by applying methods they weren't smart enough to use. It worked.

Over the years I trained hundreds of employees and clients in the methods that I developed by trial and error. Ways to use music, sound, interviews, old photos, and various audience-controlling pacing tricks that helped me be successful.

Now, I've decided to put what I learned down on paper, starting with a 30 page introductory guide to the basics of the great video storytelling.
